A wife, mama to four, business owner, Jesus lover, and recovered people-pleasing Christian. I have been teaching, encouraging, and leading people for over 15 years. Despite having grown up on a church pew, there came a time in my walk with the Lord when I realized I was following the Christian checklist of things to do right vs an actual relationship with our loving father. I knew it wasn’t right and that something had to change. I started asking the Lord to give me a hunger for His presence and His Word that only He could give. And boy did He show up. I was more in love with Jesus than I had ever been. And now He has called me to serve you with this podcast. Happy New Year!!! I am SO excited and expectant of what God is going to do throughout this year. I thought we should kick off the new year by equipping ourselves with a battle plan!

Merry Christmas!!!!!
Today we end our Advent Series by sharing about the shepherds and Magi going to visit Jesus at His birth.
I pray this Advent series has blessed you, pointed you back to Jesus, reminded you to soak in His presence, and strengthened your faith.
Friend, as you spend time with loved ones today, do not forget to be intentional with Him. Read the Christmas scriptures together, sing some Christmas carols, and pray together with your loved one. Now is a perfect time to share the love and hope that is in Jesus Christ!

Today, I start with a personal story of a friend who has lost his battle with cancer but has won a victory over death and is now rejoining in Heaven. I share two reasons why Christmas story is extra special this year and why it is so important.

I am so excited for you to hear this message today. This is one of my favorite messages within the story of Christmas. It may start as an "Oh my gosh, that is a lot of names I can't say or don't know" and end with an "Oh my gosh, I am so loved by a good God".
Join me as we pick out a few characters from Matthew's account of Jesus' Genealogy. People who had spotty pasts and crazy stories yet were apart of the bloodline of Jesus.
Mostly, I want you to hear and know that No one gets into God’s family by being born into it. We get to be REBORN into it. And that you and I have hope, home, and family here in Jesus' lineage.
